I can't seem to find your comment, but luckily your question was emailed to me too.

I don't think my Rayunad's has improved. Its only recently gotten cold enough here to tell, and I guess after 2 years, I've learned to wear gloves outside whenever the temp it below 50. I've only had one episode so far this year, and that was a few weeks ago. We will see if the winter brings it back. I tend to forget about it during the summer. Some folks get it so bad they can't reach into the freezer. Mine doesn't seem that bad. Just annoying in the winter. My doctor has never said much about it. Just a general acknowledgement that its his fault and wear some gloves.

And, I have to ask... you would happen to be from east TN? Like a small town near Knoxville? That would just be too freaky LOL

R.I.P. Habeas Corpus

1679-2006

Habeas lived a good life. He was officially born in 1679, but many trace his ancestory back to the Magna Carta. That is a long life, one most of us would be proud of. He prevented many an innocent man from being held indefinitely without knowing the crime. He was, some might say, what seperated us from those dictatorships we heard about. You know the ones, where common people were picked up off the street and never heard from again. Terms like Gulag. Los Desaparecidos. Internment Camps. Now, if you haven't already, you can add Guantanemo Bay and who knows where else to the list.

I hope its not too late. My gut says the tide is turning. Its either my gut or my optimism.

Its been awhile

But we have been busy. Here are some pictures to summarize the month of September.

Renn Faire (I made everything but the skirt. I actually made 3 skirts, then used one I had in my closet anyway. This sewing project took up most of my sept free time)


And I just spent a week in Philly. I came home and the next day - OUR KITCHEN GOT COUNTERTOPS!!!! I think you have to browse back to April to see the start of the kitchen project. *sigh*
